ขับปัสสาวะ ลดความดันลูกตา รักษาต้อหิน โรคลมชัก ป้องกันอาการที่เกิดจากการขึ้นที่สูง (Altitude sickness)

Diuretic, reducing the pressure within the eye, treatment of glaucoma, treatment of epilepsy, prevention of high-altitude disorders.

Headache, dizziness, feeling sick, loss of appetite, metallic taste, diarrhea, drowsiness, temporary short-sightedness, a need to pass urine more often than normal.
